The Holliston Senior Center and the Senior Support Foundation ( SSF ~ the fundraising arm of the Senior Center) brought donuts and juice to the February monthly meeting of Holliston's on-call firefighters on Tuesday evening February 4, to thank them for their service to Holliston's Senior Community.

2009 Citizen of the Year ~ Margaret Bowles ~ Margaret Bowles has been a resident of Holliston for over sixty years. She is best known for being the “cafeteria mom” at the Placentino/Miller Schools where she has been a fixture for over forty years.
2009 Citizen of the Year ~ Jon Juhl ~

2009 Citizen of the Year ~ Jon Juhl ~ (That's Jon on the left, with Kevin Witzell, Holliston resident and Project Architect with Kaestle Boos Associates). Jon Juhl has lived in Holliston for over twenty-two years. He has been married to his wife Karen for 26 years and has two kids in college, Katie and Brian. Jon is best known for his work on many major projects in town, especially the renovation of Town Hall in 2001-2003, the study committee for a new police station in 2004-2006, and the building of the new police station in from 2006 until this fall (September, 2009) when the new station was opened.
