Citizens of the Year 2012
Pam Zicko is married to the owner of Holliston Grill and has one son. She has been an active member of the Holliston community for over 25 years. Her involvement includes twelve years on the Holliston Finance Committee, an active member of the Lions Club (presently she is the third vice president) and a SMOC (South Middlesex Opportunity Committee) Board member since 1994, where she helped with decisions concerning shelters throughout Middlesex County. In her 'free time', Pam helps out the Senior Center and Holliston Grill.
Andrew Porter is married, with two sons. He was a member of the Holliston Board of Selectmen for twelve years, President of the Lions Club and a member for over six years, on the Holliston Finance Committee for three years, chaired the 495 Partnership for four years (was a board member for nine years), was an advisor on the Golf Committee and was chair of the Celebrate Holliston Committee for three years. In his 'spare time', Andy announces the Holliston Football Games.
Both Andy and Pam will be honored at Celebrate Holliston's Field Day on Saturday, September 22. Congratulations to both of them...
Thank you everyone for a great day. I loved every second of the day today and had the best time being in the parade. My family is so proud of me and I really love that feeling. I felt like a prom queen today. Thank you again.
