Holliston Students Bring Spring to the Schools

Holliston students were busy bringing the beauty of flowers to their schools. For the past seven years, Holliston students have had the opportunity to hone their gardening skills through generous grants provided by the Holliston Garden Club.

Above Holliston Garden Club member, Annie Hale (center in the green shirt), provided her expertise to Placentino preschool students as they planted pansies to grace the Placentino kindergarten doors. These Placentino students will water and tend to these plants during the school year.

Annie Hale also helped Miller students, above, plant flowers in flower boxes and a large vase. These planters grace the doors of both the Placentino and Miller schools. The Miller students will also tend to these plants during the school year.

These gardening projects are possible through the generous grants of the Holliston Garden Club and the generous support of Holliston’s Arcadian Farms. Come by the schools and experience the works of art these students have created.

What a great partnership between the Garden Club and the school. Looks like everyone is having a great time!

It would be great if these kids could come to this year's America in Bloom reception at the end of July.
