Fashion Show to Benefit Holliston in Bloom
Salone de Bella is pleased to announce that it is sponsoring a fashion show on May 18th from 2-4 p.m. at Holliston’s Upper Town Hall to benefit Holliston in Bloom. Tickets will be sold in advance for $20 and can be purchased at Salone de Bella, Fiske’s, Depot Package Store and the Holliston Superette.
Salone de Bella’s owner, Michelle Savino, first started thinking of the fashion event when she picked up members of the America in Bloom committee in her flowered van during last year’s judging of Holliston. “When you think of it, the Holliston in Bloom committee is working toward beautifying Holliston and businesses like Salone de Bella are too – in our own way,” says Savino with a smile on her face. “Truly a community event, the Fashion Show on May 18th will bring together local businesses and celebrities all for a great cause.”
Fine Feathers of Medway will provide the fashions, Flawless Skin Care will provide the make-up and Salone de Bella the hairstyles for local celebrities-turned-models. Models include Sylvia Stickney and Carolyn Dykema – the event will showcase fashions for day and evening wear. Refreshments will be served and a cash bar will also be available. Music and lights will be provided by Bay State Sound and will showcase the runway, the fashions and the fun.
