Fall is in the air and that means one thing:  Celebrate Holliston is just around the corner.

Celebrate Holliston Parade and Field Day
Saturday September 21, 2013
Parade at 9:00am
Field Day at Goodwill Park 10:00am-4:00pm

This year the Harvest Tent will have more opportunities than ever for you to win coveted and brag-worthy titles.  There is a contest for everyone ...

 Baking:

If you think you make the best cookies in town, now it the time to officially earn that title.  Do you bake the best bread, quick bread, brownie, or other tasty treat?  You need to fire up the oven and enter our baked goods contest.  Bring your best baked good to the Harvest Tent during Field day, Saturday, September 21st before noon.  Our judges will be awarding prizes on stage throughout the day.

 Art:

If baking isn’t your passion, maybe you or one of your family members loves art.  For the first time in years, we’ll have an art contest.  We have two themes to choose from:

What I Love about Holliston

or

Holliston in the Fall

Because no two artists are the same, we welcome you to draw, sculpt, photograph, paint, or choose your own medium.  It is a great opportunity for artists from age 2 to 100 to show what Holliston means to them.

 Pumpkin Decorating:

A favorite for kids of all ages.  Decorate your pumpkin and bring it to Field Day for display.  Many awards will be given.  You can also bring it to the Holliston Public Library starting September 16th .  They will be displayed through Sept 20th and then delivered to Field Day in time for judging.   If you prefer to do your decorating at the Library, check their schedule for a special pumpkin decorating session.
