Hometown Hero’s Day at Seekonk Speedway

It is also part one of the Phil’s Propane Triple Crown series which will feature a 50 lap Late Model race and drivers will earn double points toward their quest for the championship. Holliston resident, local businessman and driver of the # 47 Late Model, Bill Bernard will be on hand to greet the fans, sign programs and autograph pictures during intermission.

Short track stock car racing is fun and exciting; the whole family will enjoy the thrills and spills. It"s great entertainment.  This past Saturday, June 1st , after letting several hundred kids play race car driver at the Touch-a-Truck event, Bernard managed to put the nose of his new Toyota Camry across that white stripe first as the “Cardiac Kid” and the WC Racing Team won their second race of the season.

You can bet this Saturday night he’ll try once again to get that Camry across the stripe first. What a great way to entertain Dad this Fathers Day weekend. The whole family will have a blast and cheer our local guy on.

Gates open at 4 PM, racing starts at 6 PM. Free admission to Holliston residents with proper ID, kids under twelve free. Great burgers and ice cold Dells Lemonade. Free parking and an easy 40-minute ride to the Speedway. For more information and directions go to www.Seekonkspeedway.com
