Garden Tour Saturday and Sunday

by Erin Dowling Porter

The Holliston Garden Club’s garden tour is open today and tomorrow and has six fabulous gardens on display: a Mudville cottage garden, a “secret garden” created behind the rest of Dalton Street, a tribute to outdoor living, a bird-lovers paradise—and a peek at the spectacular grounds of our town tree warden. Shade and sun and everything in between, and all within a few miles of your air conditioner.

So grab a bottle of water, your favorite friend and come down to the Blair Square Gazebo after 9:30 Saturday or after 11:00 on Sunday to buy your ticket. $15 buys all gardens both days, and gives you a suggested route, information on parking and addresses. Limited tickets will be available at each garden for exact change.

Admire and get inspiration for your own yard. Hosts from the Garden Club will be available to talk plants with you — or you can simply wander around and enjoy.

I’ll sign off now. I’m checking out the gardens myself this morning, and working at them this afternoon. Hope to see you there.
