Riding on the Snow Train

A large group of railroad enthusiasts turned up for the Live Steamers annual New Years Day activities.

It was cold and windy but those who ventured to the site enjoyed rides through the wooded areas off of Arthur street.

The tracks were cleared of snow early in the morning, even the high line, which is the elevated set of tracks that carries the smaller steam trains.

An electric engine pulled several cars with passengers along the main line.  There were both young children and adults enjoying the  rides and of course several photographers taking pictures of the activities.
