Motor Vehicle / House Breaking & Entering Alert

by Lieutenant Craig Denman
10/27/2012

The Town of Holliston has had a reported increase in motor vehicle breaking and entering and larcenies where money and other articles of value have been taken. Remove items of value from your vehicle. Residents are reminded to lock their vehicles, especially during overnight hours when these offenses are occurring.

There has also been an increase in breaking and entering to houses in Holliston and surrounding towns. Residents are reminded to secure their homes and report all suspicious activity, vehicles and persons to police as it happens so it may be investigated in a timely manner.

The police and the community working together to be proactive can reduce these offenses in our neighborhoods and continue to keep Holliston a safe place.

Have we seen in increase in this type of criminal activity? This is quite disconcerting

Read the last several Police Log reports for locations of break-ins. Woods Crossing has been especially hard hit with 4 or 5 break-ins.

Can we find out which neighborhoods have been affected (so far)?
