The spaghetti dinner will be served In the Miller/Placentino Cafetorium along with musical entertainment provided by Holliston High School students on Saturday, November 3rd, 5:30-7:30 p.m.  Tickets are $10/person with a $25.00 family cap.  Children three-years-old and under are free.  Tickets can be purchased at the Miller School office, Fiske's, and Coffee Haven.  Checks can be made out to: PTSA/Miller Playground Fund. Chef Christopher Reid and Golden Pond Assisted Living Facility in Hopkinton, Massachusets, are also contributing to this event.

The spaghetti dinner is a fundraiser for the Miller School Playground project.

For the past year, the Fred W. Miller School Playground Committee has been raising money for a new playground. The current playground has served the students at Miller for just over seventeen years, which is slightly over the average life expectancy for a playground. In addition, the playground needs to be brought up to current federal ADA accessibility standards.

The current fundraising efforts have raised just over half of the needed $200,000.

“We are well on our way.  The parents and families in Holliston have been so supportive of this project. They have opened their hearts and their wallets. But we still need to raise a significant amount of money,” says Gray chairman of the Miller School Playground Committee. “We hope this 5K race and spaghetti dinner will help us do that.”
