The Carnival

Growing up in Holliston, I always thought of the carnival as a special event. The beginning of summer.

As a child I lived downtown and used to walk there with my friends and run wild, hopped up on cotton candy and soda.

I would be the first one there and the last to leave on bracelet night. In high school I went for the ferris wheel and fireworks.

In college I came back for the fried dough. Now I don't even need to go on the rides. I just try to capture the feeling and the excitement with my camera.

I still have just as much fun as when I was a kid.  The carnival hasn't changed. I see it with the same eyes and I get to share it now.
