Upper Charles Rail Trail Cleanup

Please join us for an afternoon of maintenance-clearing and cleanup of the Upper Charles Rail Trail. Bring bow saws or lopping shears. Work boots and work gloves are recommended.  There is known to be poison ivy in this section and you will need to know how to identify it in winter or work closely with someone who can.

Thanks to the latest cleanup in November, the entire 6.7 miles of trail in Holliston is now clear but has an unimproved surface. The next series of cleanups will be to remove invasive vegetation and maintain the trail clearances.

Please park in the southwest corner of Village Plaza (1564 - 1568 Washington Street). There is a short path that leads from the back of the building to the trail. We will be working on the section from Village Plaza easterly toward Summer Street.
