John "Jack" Santos at 61

John A. “Jack” Santos Jr.  61, of Natick died Tuesday, November 30, 2010, after a courageous battle with A.L.S., surrounded by his loving family. 

A Natick resident for 41 years and of Holliston for 20 years, he was born in Framingham the son of John A. and Lillian O. (Cifizzari) Santos of Natick. 

Mr. Santos was a driver for the Adessa Corporation of Framingham for the past five years. 

He attended the Natick School system graduating from Natick High School class of 1967. 
 
Jack had a variety of interests including, gourmet cooking and all of its "accoutrements",  coaching  for the Natick and Medway Little League Baseball,  43 year  member of the Natick Elks ,and was an avid fan of the Red Sox, Bruins, Patriots and BU. Most important to Jack was the “coaching” and instruction he lovingly   provided for his two children. 
 
In addition to his parents he is survived by his son Joseph J. Santos, his daughter Michelle M. Santos both of Holliston and their mother Peggy (Rothwell) Santos of Holliston, one brother Edward L. Santos of Natick, three sisters Catherine A. Leger and her husband Robert of Plymouth, Donna M. Santos of Natick, Joanne M. O’Brien and her husband Mike of Natick, and many nieces nephews, cousins and devoted friends. 
 
A Memorial Mass in Celebration of Jack’s life will take place on Sunday December 5 at 3:00 P.M. in St Linus Church, 119 Hartford Street, Natick. 
 
Visiting hours in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common are Saturday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
