HCAT Open House to Benefit the Holliston Pantry Shelf
Holliston residents are invited to attend the HCAT open house and food drive to benefit the Pantry Shelf on Saturday June 26th, from 10-2 at the HCAT studio and grounds at the high school. This event is part of HCAT’s 25th anniversary celebration to heighten the awareness of HCAT and attract additional volunteers and new shows.
Each food donation to the Holliston Pantry Shelf will generate a raffle ticket to win several great prizes including gift certificates and a Flip High Definition Video camera.
Every summer, the Holliston Pantry Shelf sponsors a Stock Our Shelves or SOS program to insure that they have enough food through the summer when donations are low. The most important current needs for the Pantry are: personal care items like, toothpaste, shampoo & conditioner, laundry & dish detergent and canned meat like chicken, turkey or tuna.
Activities include HCAT studio tours, ability to tape your comments about HCAT if you wish, pick up some free gift items and grab a snack. Our federal and state legislators have been invited to join us and be available for your questions and comments.
