The playing fields in Holliston are a HOT topic for many parents and coaches of team sports. They are on the perennial list of projects for the Parks and Rec Department.

But the truth is that there’s never enough money to get them where we want them to be.

Step in…Mark Ahronian…with an idea to raise some money. He doesn’t expect to raise enough to do everything, but he hopes to engage people in the issue and have some quick success. Will you help?

How?  A raffle to Fix Our Fields.

This Saturday at Celebrate Holliston, you can buy a raffle ticket to win one of the plants shown in the photos – a dwarf Japanese maple or a lilac bush that will flower next Spring.

$20 per ticket. Purchase them at the Ahronian Landscaping and Design booth, and all proceeds will go to the fields.

Celebrate Holliston Field Day runs from 10:00 to 3:00 at Goodwill Park. Please stop by and buy a ticket. The Parade is at 9:00.
