We continue our Civics Sunday series with news of our town's annual celebration.  In the coming Civics Sundays articles, we will intersperse board / committee chair interviews with other items that make our community such a special place.

CELEBRATE HOLLISTON - The Organization

What is Celebrate Holliston?

Excellent question!!  It is a whole lot of town-wide fun for all ages.

Who is Celebrate Holliston?

We are your neighbors and we could be YOU!!  Get involved by CONTACTING US today.  Below is contact information for the 2019 Celebrate Holliston chairs.

But what is it REALLY?

A town-wide fundraising event!!  Celebrate Holliston's mission is to raise money for our town improvements and beautification. Recently, our donations have been used to purchase our downtown clock, provide plantings around our Holliston Green, support student scholarships and provide electricity to Goodwill Park. In these economic times, when municipalities depend on outside support, your sponsorship is even more meaningful in meeting the needs of Holliston.

We have already begun working on preparations for the town's 300th Celebration as well.

CELEBRATE HOLLISTON – The Parade.  Register your group, vehicle, float now.

When the band goes marching down the street, smiling kids are bouncing along with banners and tractors are rumbling to the tune of a kazoo, we know Celebrate Holliston’s parade is in town. On September 21, 2019 we want you to join the festivities.

Do you love to get out around downtown, appreciate the sights and taking a stroll? Do you enjoy entertaining or just being entertained? Either way, the Celebrate Holliston parade is rolling through downtown from Placentino School starting at 9am and traveling to Goodwill Park, concluding around 10am.

Selectmen John Conin and Mark Ahronian are all smiles (even Mark's candy bag is smiling) in 2018's parade.

We want you to roll with us and represent your club, group, business, or even neighborhood. Decorate anything with wheels, design a float, or just march together to show your spirit and have some fun! Hope to see you there with bells and whistles on. Seriously, bells, whistles, streamers, throw candy or play an instrument. Contact one of the Parade chairs listed below to get in on this great event!

We love it!
