“OPERATION VALKYRIE @ 75: THE PLOT TO ASSASSINATE HITLER”

Join us as we examine the details of the plot to assassinate Hitler.  By 1944, with the Allied landings in France and the collapse of the Eastern Front, conspirators within the German Officer Corps planned a coup to eliminate Hitler and to open negotiations with the West to end to the war.  After careful planning, Col. Claus von Stauffenberg volunteered to place a bomb in Hitler’s conference room timed to explode during his daily military briefing.

Presentation Sponsored by the Senior Support Foundation

Please sign up with the Receptionist at (508) 429-0622 for this presentation.
