The Friends of the Holliston Public Library will be sponsoring the Ultimate Robin Williams Experience on Saturday, July 27 at 6:30 pm.  Roger Kabler performs a one-man show of Williams’ humor for all ages.  The 1993 animated film Aladdin starring Williams as the genie will also be shown on the lower level with adult supervision for anyone needing babysitting during Kabler’s show.  Refreshments are included.  Both programs are free and everyone is welcome.

The film for Movie Monday on July 8 at 12:30 is the documentary Apollo 11 in honor of the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.  The History Book Club will meet on Thursday, July 18 at 6:30.  Participants are asked to share a book of history or biography they have read and enjoyed recently with the group.

Holliston residents are reminded that the library carries discount passes to local museums and attractions which can be borrowed at no charge with a valid library card.  These include the New England Aquarium, the Museum of Science, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Ecoteriam, the Hall at Patriot Place, the Boston Children’s Museum, Tower Hill Botanical Garden, Peabody Essex Museum, Mystic Aquarium,  the USS Constitution Museum, the Mary Baker Eddy Library and Mapparium, the Massachusetts state parks and Lookout Farm.  The Friends also sell tickets to Southwick Zoo in Mendon for $ 21 each.  Some museums charge a co-pay which is a fraction of the regular admission.  Passes are purchased by the Friends, the Holliston Newcomers Club and the Holliston Garden Club.  More information is available at www.hollistonlibrary.org.
