June 27-30 at Holliston High School; Fireworks on Saturday Night

For the past 56 years, one of the sure signs of summer around here is the arrival of the Holliston Lions Carnival at Holliston High School.  It’s coming around again this week, June 27-30 featuring the Fanelli Brothers Midway, wrist band nights, the Lions food tent and fireworks on Saturday night, June 30.

The Holliston Lions Carnival is the club’s most ambitious fundraiser, generating nearly 45% of the more than $40,000 that the long-standing club provides to local and international charities each year.  The midway is again featured in the parking lot of Holliston High School.  Unlimited wristband days are Wednesday and Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.  The Carnival is open from 1 pm until 11 p.m. on Saturday.

“This is our biggest event and it takes all of our members’ volunteer time to make it worthwhile,” says Ed Daniels incoming Lions President.  “We strive to make it one of the highlights of the summer, and the community looks forward to the annual fireworks.”

The Carnival kicks off Wednesday evening, June 27 from 5 pm-10 pm with wristband night and unlimited rides that evening for $25.  The remaining four-day schedule is:

  • Thursday, June 28, 5pm.-10pm
  • Friday, June 29. 5pm.-11pm               Wristband night, unlimited rides 9pm-11pm for $15
  • Saturday, June 30, 12 1pm-11 pm   Wristband afternoon, 1pm-5 pm. Unlimited rides for $25
  • Fireworks, Saturday, June 30th beginning at 9:30 p.m.
