TUESDAY, 5th SEPTEMBER: HOLLISTON PTO SCREENING OF MOST LIKELY TO SUCCEED

7PM @ ROBERT ADAMS MIDDLE SCHOOL AUDITORIUM

Welcome back to school, and to ‘Rekindling Holliston’s Innovative Spirit’. Holliston PTO invites you to attend a screening of Most Likely to Succeed, an 89-minute award-winning documentary about re-imagining education.

This is a second chance to see the movie if you missed the initial screening in March, or to refresh your memory. As you will have read in the Summer 2017 Community Newsletter, Dr Jackson’s goal is to “… unleash the creativity and curiosity of our staff and support the development of classroom innovations, fuelled by the growing levels of technology available in our classrooms that help each student discover their purpose and develop their curiosity, passion, creativity and imagination.”

The movie shows real examples of how other schools have overcome some of the challenges involved in rethinking the classroom setting, and discusses how we can empower our children to build, create and innovate, preparing them for the 21st century.

Holliston PTO is facilitating a focus group to identify and address challenges facing parents during this change. For further information or to be added to the focus group, please contact: Anne Buckley at parentedevents@gmail.com
