Michelle Savino of Salon de Bella Receives Award
Mark and I presented Michelle Savino of Salon de Bella with her plaque this morning to show appreciation for all she does for Holliston in Bloom. Her sponsorship of the fashion show has helped HIB greatly in achieving its goals this year.
Fun fact about Michelle is that she picked up the judges in her car the first year we participated in America in Bloom. Her car was covered in flowers back in 2012 and she volunteered her car and time even before an AIB judge stepped a foot in our beautiful town. It was raining quite a bit that night and they arrived straight from the airport to the reception at the Holliston Historical Society. The rain ended right before their arrival and as if on cue, a rainbow appeared quite visible in the sky across from the reception as if to welcome the judges.
