RA Vision Productions, Inc., and award-winning director Raouf Zaki of Holliston are pleased to announce that their latest film, Beyond the Grid, will screen for the press, cast, and crew on Friday, June 24th, 2016.

The screening will take place at the Holliston High School Auditorium located at 370 Hollis Street, Holliston, MA. Doors will open at 6 PM, with the screening to begin at 7 PM. A Q&A session will follow.

Beyond the Grid is Raouf Zaki’s third film. His first film, Just Your Average Arab, won Best Film at the 2006 Boston Comedy and Film Festival. His second film, Santa Claus in Baghdad, won third place for Best Independent Short, Ages 12-18, at the 2008 KIDS FIRST! film festival. It was also an official selection at the 2008 Rhode Island Film Festival and the 2009 Garden State Film Festival. Santa Claus in Baghdad continues to be widely embraced by colleges and universities throughout the United States.

Beyond the Grid is a short comedy that tells the story of a man that goes on a series of blind dates with three sisters. Although the sisters look almost identical, their personalities, homes, and lifestyles couldn’t be any more different.

The towns of Holliston, Millis, and Milford, MA, were the backdrop for “off the grid” locations where the three strange dates took place. These locations consist of a chicken coop, a greenhouse, a storage shed, and a silo that acted as a “barrel” house in Milford, MA, through special effects. In Zaki’s previous film, Framingham was the backdrop for Baghdad.
