Miller and Placentino Decorated with Mums by Student Gardeners

Miller and Placentino student gardeners were once again busy planting fall flowers for the entrances of their schools. This time the plants of choice were mums! The mums were planted in flower boxes and large vases that grace the front doors of the schools. These student gardeners carefully removed the former plants, dug new holes, and planted the mums. These gardeners will continue to care for these plants throughout the fall.

The Placentino and Miller students have a long history of support regarding these planting projects for the schools. The Holliston Garden Club has graciously provided the funding for these projects. The Holliston Garden Club has also provided outreach support by member, Annie Hale. Annie provides advice and learning opportunities for our students.  Arcadian Farms of Holliston also has a long history of supporting these student garden projects.

Come view the Miller and Placentino front doors to see the works of these students!
