When I visited the Marshall Islands in March, I experienced the pace of life that Boo has grown accustomed to over the past year. The things that keep Americans relentlessly scheduled - phones, internet, email - are absent on Bikarej. Life runs on what the Marshallese refer to as "Marshallese time".
