Celebrate Holliston Parade of September 20, 2014

The weather cooperated, a cool start but a great day for a parade.

Auxiliary policeman Rob Ramrath controlled the traffic on Central Street as the parade progressed to Goodwill Park

Fire trucks led the way.

Citizen of the Year Louise Kirkpatrick is chauferred by Mike Tyman,2014 Citizen of the Year.

An interesting collection of vehicles drove in the parade.

And then  Oliver Gagnon proudly drove his prize club car.

Mr. Bill Stickney likes to display his tractor to the town.

Stop the automatic gas tax increase was well represented.

Representative Carolyn Dykema and Senator Karen Spilka waved to the crowd.

Two of the above characters are Selectmen Jay Marsden and Kevin Conley.





Local floats added interest to the parade.

Holliston school bands provided marching music.

What is a parade without horses?

These handsome Belgians were a highlight of the parade,

And the organizers of the parade had the honor to be escorted by them.



It was a great parade with an abundance of candy for all.

Fantastic pictures of another great Celebrate Holliston parade. The town gem, Martha Ellis, puts together the best parades around! Don't know how she manages to make them better and better each year. Thank you, Martha, for all you do!!!
