Registration for the 10 km is from 9:30 – 10:00 a.m. and from 10:30-11:00 a.m. for the 6 km, so that all finish shortly before picnic time. Click here for a direct link to the event brochure: http://walknmass.org/day_walks/Holliston_082314_final_e.pdf

The 6 km route will be marked with red streamers and is primarily out-and-back on the Upper Charles River Rail Trail. The 10 km route will be marked with yellow streamers and begins on the paved Rosary Walk, enters Wenakeening Woods exploring several natural trails, and connects to the rail trail with a short visit to downtown before retracing steps along the rail trail to the finish.

The walk routes are on groomed stone-dust as well as some paved surfaces and natural trails, suitable for strollers but not for wheelchairs.  Leashed pets are welcome and clean-up laws apply.

The walk is sponsored by Walk 'n Mass Volkssport Club. Volkssporting events promote fun, fitness and friendship by providing non-competitive walking and other sporting events free to the public. Volkssporting also offers an achievement awards program.
