Continuing its more than 30-year commitment to support and enrich the community, Holliston Newcomers Club awards grants to individuals or organizations that make a significant impact on the community, and provide a needed service or project which helps a large number of Holliston residents. The Grant program is made possible through proceeds of Newcomer-hosted fundraising events including the annual Craft Fair and the Touch-a-Truck event being held May 31, 2014.

2014 Grant award recipients include the Holliston Pantry Shelf, the Friends of the Holliston Rail Trail, the Holliston Fire Department, the Holliston Police Department, the Holliston Senior Center, the Holliston PTSA, the Holliston Auxiliary Police Department, the Miller School Holiday Gift Bag Project, the Placentino Creative Movement Program, the Holliston Marigold Project, the Holliston Arts Council to support the Summer Concert Series, and the Holliston Public Library to support the purchase of museum passes.

The recipients will be celebrated at a General Meeting on May 13, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Holliston Historical Society Barn.  The meeting is open to the community, and all are welcome to attend this very special evening of celebration.
