Each year, the Holliston Newcomers Club is committed to giving back to our community by awarding grants to fund individual or organizational projects that will make a significant impact and provide a needed service for many of Holliston’s residents.  Grant applications are now being accepted and are now available to download at http://www.hollistonnewcomers.org/community-investments.  In addition, grant applications are available at Coffee Haven and the Holliston Public Library.  Grant Applications will be accepted until March 15, 2014, and grants will be awarded in April 2014.

Last year, the Holliston Newcomers Club was proud to award over $13,000 to organizations and projects that benefitted the Holliston community.  Many of Holliston’s great organizations such as the Friends of the Holliston Library, the Holliston Arts Council, the Holliston Auxiliary Police, the Holliston Girl Scouts, the Holliston Food Pantry and the Holliston Senior Center were awarded grants to fund their projects.  Some of the projects that were funded included the museum passes offered through the Holliston Library, the Goodwill Park Summer Concert Series, and training for auxiliary police officers.  For more information or questions about the Holliston Newcomers’ grants program, please contact Trystan O’Leary at 508-429-2510 or visit the website at http://www.hollistonnewcomers.org
