The Holliston Historical Society invites you to save the dates ...

 

         Friday, February 7th at 7:00 PM MOVIE NIGHT at the Asa Whiting House – Members and their Guests are invited to watch a movie, eat popcorn, and have an informal discussion.  We will be viewing:

     The Best Years of Our Lives, directed by William Wyler, starring Myrna Loy, Fredric March, Dana Andrews, Teresa Wright, Virginia Mayo, and Harold Russell. 

            Three men return home after serving in WWII and have trouble adjusting to civilian life.                             Produced by Samuel Goldwin (later the “G” in MGM), this 1946 file won seven Academy Awards, including Best Picture.

 

    February 15th & 16th from 9 AM to 4 PM – TRAIN SHOW  For the past couple years the train show has been held in the lovely, bright Upper Town Hall, where all the train enthusiasts can be in one room together.  Exhibitors include old favorites, The Brass Caboose, Coastal Mountain Railroad, and Waushakum Live Steamers, and newcomers, the European Train Enthusiasts of Eastern New England.  Returning, of course, is the ever popular Thomas the Tank Engine and his Friends.  This event is open to the public, so tell all your friends!  The admission fee is $3.00 per person, with a $15.00 family maximum, children under 5 get in for free
