Three More Break-Ins

by Chief John Moore
11/19/2013

Between the hours of 6:00am and 10:00am the Holliston Police received reports of three (3) entries into motor vehicles that were parked in driveways on the following roadways (Dunster Road, Adams Street, and Washington Street) during the overnight hours from November 17th to the 18th. An Apple I-Touch is missing from one vehicle, and loose change was taken from all vehicles. In all cases the motor vehicles were left unlocked, and no known damage was done to any vehicle. These matters remain under investigation. There are no suspects at this time. (Please note: these crimes appear identical to those reported on the morning of November 13th in the eastern section of town)

Once again, we urge residents to remove valuables from their vehicles and to keep those vehicles locked especially during the overnight hours. In addition, please report any suspicious activity, vehicles or persons to our department immediately upon being observed.

Lock your car doors! I cannot believe the number of people who leave their cars UNlocked. You're just inviting a thief.
