Haiti Health Alliance Yard Sale Huge Success
Heartfelt thanks to the many people of Holliston and neighboring towns that contributed time, clothing and household items for the Yard Sale.
Special thanks to Diane Crefeld and her students at the Miller Elementary School for the shoes they collected which will be brought to the children in San Rafael . Thanks to Sheri O'Brien for spreading the word about the Yard Sale. Eight members of the Haiti Health Alliance team will travel to San Rafael on October 22nd. There the team will join other health professionals and treat many people in need.
There will also be "Mother and Baby Day" at the clinic at which time an obstetrician, pediatrician and pediatric nurses will be on hand to address health concerns and questions that the mothers may have. They will also visit nearby schools and villages in the mountains of San Rafael and do teaching about sexually transmitted diseases, nutrition and dental care.
