Finish the Ride for Emilee Dawn Gagnon

Holliston resident Emilee Dawn Gagnon, 21, tragically lost her life in a careless motor vehicle crash near Toledo, Ohio, on September 23, 2013, while on a cross-country cycling trip to benefit Multiple Sclerosis.

Having survived ovarian cancer at the age of 13, Emilee had turned her attention to the disease from which her maternal grandfather continues to suffer, and had dedicated hundreds of hours to the cause of finding a cure for MS. A 2013 graduate of Westfield State University, Emilee was described by her professors as “a walking work of art.” Her passion for life helped her to realize a life much fuller than those of many of us who live well beyond her own twenty-one years.

While at Holliston High School, Emilee had completed an oil painting of a hand holding a bracelet from the American Cancer Society inscribed with “OVERCOME” and a medal inscribed with “MS Bike Tour”. Since accomplishing this ride was her life-long dream, please join Emilee’s friends and family in “finishing the ride” by raising a targeted goal of $10,000 for the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
