The Holliston Newcomers Club is hosting its popular annual Activities Fair/Fall Fest to invite potential and existing members to learn what is planned for the year.

The event will be held on Sunday, September 8th, at the Holliston Historical Society Barn (547 Washington Street) from 2 to 5 pm.  This is a free event for all current members and anyone who would like to join or simply learn more about the Newcomers Club.

The Activities Fair/Fall Fest will showcase all of the social and civic activities that the Newcomers have planned for the 2013 - 2014 season.  It will be a great chance to learn more about the Newcomers, to sign up for new activities, to join or renew your membership, and to see plenty of familiar faces – and some new ones too.

There will be plenty of refreshments, face painting, a bouncy house, and free raffle so bring the whole family for a fun day.

The Holliston Newcomers Club (www.hollistonnewcomers.org) is a nonprofit organization that coordinates charitable, civic, educational and recreational events and activities in the town of Holliston.  The organization’s goal is to encourage association among community members and foster community spirit.  Membership is open to both residents and non-residents of Holliston.

Taking a minute out of their busy schedule to pose for HollistonReporter.com are Beth Welsh, President Fran Pleska, and first vice president Kim Adkin during last year's event.
