Holliston Pantry Shelf Summer Update

Hi All, 
   The following is an update with events and current needs for the Holliston Pantry Shelf:  
The first two attached files are pictures taken at the Pantry on Saturday of Riley Brennan and her mom, Carly, delivering three boxes of pantry donations to Pantry board member and co-founder, Sylvia Stickney. Riley told her mom she has everything she could possibly need, and for her 11th birthday party, she asked her party guests to bring donations instead of birthday gifts.
 
  • For month of August, and just in time for back-to-school shopping, Fiske's General Store will donate $5.00 to the Holliston Pantry Shelf for every new or renewed "Friends Of Fiske's" Membership in their discount club offering members 20-30% off just about everything in the store.
 
  • In addition to the list of 20 Most Nutritious Foods seen in the third attached file, the Pantry is currently in need of:
    • TUNA
      PEANUT BUTTER
      SOUP
      SNACKS
      PAPER TOWELS
      VEGETABLES and FRUITS from home gardens

  • Save The Dates - Details to follow
    • Holliston Pantry Shelf Turkey Dinner - Saturday, September 21 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Holliston High School
    • 20th Anniversary Celebration - Sunday, October 27 at Upper Town Hall
