Food Pantry Needs Your Help

by Amy Porter

The summer months are a typically light time for grocery donations for the Holliston Pantry Shelf. Town organizations who regularly donate during their meetings throughout the school year, don’t meet during the summer. The pantry doesn’t benefit from their generosity and the shelves can become rather empty. In the past few summers, the Pantry has launched the “Stock Our Shelves” campaign in June to ensure there are enough groceries on the shelves for all of our clients.

Last summer the support we received for the SOS campaign from the town of Holliston was tremendous! The food collections helped keep our shelves stocked throughout the summer, when we need help the most.  We hope to do the same this summer and that you will help us out once again.

This year, we are celebrating our 20th anniversary and have put together a list of 20 nutritious foods and most-needed items that can be donated to help us meet our 20th Anniversary Challenge
