Colantonio Inc. Celebrated 35 years in Business

With over 130 attendees, including business associates, municipal officials , chamber members, family and friends there was delicious food, an ice cream truck and antique cars displayed.


 
“We are delighted to join Fran and his team at Colantonio, Inc. as they celebrate this huge milestone.  Fran’s leadership, both in his professional life and in terms of community involvement is unparalled and we congratulate him on this significant achievement,” said Bonnie Biocchi, President and CEO of the MetroWest Chamber.

Fran Colantonio invited guests to contribute and drop off donations for the Holliston Food Pantry at the event and dozens of bags of groceries were donated to the Food Pantry the next day.


 
Senator Karen Spilka and Representative Carolyn Dykema were on hand to offer citations and congratulatory remarks.  “I know how challenging it is for small businesses to succeed, especially in times of recession, so it is a testimony to Fran and Colantonio Inc that they have not only weathered many storms, but have grown and prospered and continued to thrive.  The award-winning work they have done at Framingham State is just one example of the excellent work that they do,” stated Sen. Spilka.
 
Some of the Municipal officials in attendance were: Lisa Wong, Mayor of the City of Fitchburg; Mike Cassidy, Chief of the Holliston Fire Department; Jay Marsden, Jay Leary and Kevin Conley, Holliston Board of Selectmen; Peter Barbieri; Bill Batchelor and Greg Carey,of the Holliston Economic Development Committee.
