Marion F. (Valls) Joslin of Natick died on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at her home. She was 79 years old.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 30, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Vincent & Sarah (Costello) Valls. Marion was raised in Boston’s South End and a graduate of Brandeis High School.

She was a homemaker and a part time waitress who enjoyed shopping, facebook, video games and traveling to Ireland, Las Vegas & Disney. However, her true joy was taking care of her kids. She was a Natick resident since 1959 and a member of St. James Church of Wellesley.

Marion was the devoted wife of the late Lawrence R. Joslin, with whom she shared 59 years of marriage. She was the loving mother of Kirk N. Joslin & his wife Sheila of Holliston; Greg F. Joslin & his wife Carol of Oklahoma; Lauren A. Miller & her husband Robert of Sutton. Cherished grandmother of Kimberly Joslin of Grafton; Richard Joslin & his wife Tracy of Holliston; Nathaniel Joslin & his wife Natasha of Framingham; Sierra & Savannah Joslin of Oklahoma; Jacqueline Miller of Framingham & the late Matthew Joslin. Great grandmother of Ryan, Andrew, Kelley, Amy & Katie. Caring sister of Richard Valls & his wife Rose Marie of Norwood & the late Vincenta “Sadie” DiPasqualie & her husband Anthony of Holbrook. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.

A memorial service will be held in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common on Sunday, June 23 at 1pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dedham.
