High School Pops Concert
The Holliston High School Music Department will present the annual Pops Concerts on Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16 at 7:00 p.m. in the HHS Cafeteria. The concerts will feature the music of all the department’s major ensembles as well as selected soloists. The vocal ensembles will be the Chorus, Act 2, Harmonics and Testosterones. The instrumental groups will be the Concert Band and the Jazz Band. There will be a variety of musical styles for everyone’s enjoyment.
The high school cafeteria will be transformed into a concert venue, complete with stages and lighting, to create a wonderful ambience for the evening. Refreshments will be served throughout the concert. All proceeds go to support music programs in the Holliston schools. Directors Stuart Britton and Laura Bilodeau are assisted in the planning of the night by the Holliston Music and Arts Parents Association. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and senior citizens. Front row tickets can be reserved in advance by sending payment with a student performer. General admission reservations can be made by contacting Mr. Britton at brittons@holliston.k12.ma.us General admission reservations must be claimed by 6:45 on the night of the show. Please make checks payable to HHS Music. General admission tickets may also be bought at the door both nights but it is advisable to arrive by 6:40 to insure seating a party of four or more together.
