Rail Trail to Accept Land Donation

by Robert Weidknecht
1/14/2013

Please join us in thanking Don Brown, representing The Fredy & Regula Lienhard Foundation, for the land donation that provides a critical connection between the recently surfaced Holliston section and the paved six-mile Milford section of the Upper Charles Rail Trail.

The Board of Selectmen will be accepting the land donation at approximately 8:00 pm on January 16, 2013 and a celebration with cake and refreshments will follow in the upstairs kitchen of Town Hall.

Thanks to the Lienhard family for their generous donation to the town. They are very kind. Don Brown is a really good guy as well.

I would also like to give a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has worked so hard on this project. As a cyclist, I constantly use the trail into Milford, and I notice and take delight in every improvement. The Rail Trail is a gem that few towns can match.

Bob, and everyone else involved, thank you for your hard work over all of these years. You have all given an incredible gift to the town.
