Beginning at the Holliday Stroll on Thanksgiving weekend, and collecting every weekend until Christmas, members of the Democratic Town Committee braved the cold and occasional inclement weather to ring bells for the Pantry.  Thanks to the generosity of the people of Holliston this year's efforts raised over $5,000, an increase of 40% over the amount collected last year. The money helped the Pantry provide holiday food baskets making the season brighter for over 160 families who currently rely on the Pantry for assistance.

"It is great to see the teenagers and kids open their wallets and put in their own money. They understand the importance of the Food Pantry," said Lee DeSorgher, DTC treasurer.

"The Food Pantry is a wonderful effort that brings us all together as a community, and shows our connection to each other. The Holliston Democratic Town Committee is proud to help people take part in this holiday project and we hope to keep doing the collection for years to come," said Beth Greely, DTC chairperson.
