Newcomers Deliver Forty Thanksgiving Dinners
Many hot meals, complete with turkeys donated from Outpost Farm, along with homemade stuffing, green beans, mashed potatoes, and dessert went to Cole Court, Mission Springs and various residential homes where seniors live.
In addition, each tray included a handmade card from children of the Newcomers Club wishing the recipient a happy and healthy holiday season. Busy volunteers created an assembly line to fill each styrofoam container with cooked food while another group placed the containers in cardboard trays.
Once the room was filled, we were ready to begin delivery.
Several cars backed into the driveway and were greeted by waiting volunteers who
loaded the meals. The cars slowly pulled out and began their short journey to
many smiling seniors within Holliston. For more information on the Holliston
