The Craft Fair is an annual event that is held the weekend before Thanksgiving in Holliston, MA at the Holliston High School. This is a juried craft fair of over 125 crafters that pride themselves on their hand-made works.

This year the fair will be held for one day on Sunday, November 18th from 9am – 4pm.  There is a large variety of returning artisans from the New England area and the Mid-Atlantic region, plus dozens of new crafters showcasing their creativity.  Our categories include:  Bath & Body, Children’s Items, Edible Delights, Jewelry, Home & Personal Accessories, and Glass, Pottery & Wooden Items. The Newcomers Club has expanded the number of booths on display this year.  Come shop for holiday gifts and find something for yourself too.  Admission is $5 for Adults, $3 for Seniors and Free for Children under the age of 12.

As is tradition, the Craft Fair will feature a bake table and hourly raffle drawings for crafts donated by the fair’s talented artisans.  Guests who bring a non-perishable food item for the Holliston Food Pantry will receive a free ticket to be entered in the hourly drawings.

For over 40 years the Holliston Newcomers Club has remained strongly committed to giving back to the community by issuing grants to organizations that make a significant impact, provide needed services and projects, and help the greatest number of Holliston residents. The craft fair is the largest fundraiser for the Holliston Newcomers Club.  In 2012, grant recipients included the Holliston Arts Council to support the summer concert series, the Holliston Public Library to support their museum pass program, the Holliston Auxiliary Police, The American Legion Post 47 Downtown Marigold Project, The Miller School Gift Bag Project, The Friends of the Holliston Trails, and the Holliston Food Pantry to support their continuing efforts.

The Holliston Newcomers Club, (www.hollistonnewcomers.org) is a not-for-profit organization that coordinates charitable, civic, education and recreational events and activities in the town of Holliston.  The organization’s goal is to encourage association among community members and foster community spirit.  Membership is open to both residents and non-residents of Holliston.
