Newcomers Club Holds Wine & Cheese Event
The Holliston Newcomers Club held their popular Wine & Cheese event at the Holliston Historical Barn last Saturday. It appeared that everyone was ready to have a great time prior to Hurricane Sandy’s arrival. There was a wonderful variety of beers, wine, hot and cold appetizers while everyone enjoyed the music and the festive ambiance of the Barn. The party was well attended with close to 80 residents on hand enjoying socializing with familiar and many new faces. The next event for the Newcomers will be the annual Craft Fair scheduled for Sunday November 18th at the Holliston High School.
The Holliston Newcomers Club (www.hollistonnewcomers.org) is a Not-for-Profit organization that coordinates charitable, civic, and social events in the town of Holliston. The organization’s goal is to encourage association among community members and foster community spirit. Membership is open to both residents and non-residents of Holliston.
