October 2012 Holliston PTSA Newsletter
Just last week, members of the PTSA were attending our booth at Celebrate Holliston to show off some of the PTSA gear, renew membership from years past, and sign up new members and welcome them to the Holliston community. I am proud to say that the volunteers at Celebrate Holliston were able to renew countless memberships and add a number of new families in Holliston to the PTSA.

MIDDLE SCHOOL PTSA NEWS
Another exciting school year is well underway at RAMS. This year the students were asked to make a school-wide spirit pledge "You are what you do, not what you say." This pledge will be reinforced with school-wide spirit events throughout the year, mostly on Final Fridays.
The first spirit event took place on Friday, September 21st. Lead by a tremendous group of seventh grade teachers, and with the help of many parent volunteers, each and every student tie-dyed a class t-shirt. The school spirit was alive and well making this huge effort a tremendous success. All students will be asked to wear these beautiful shirts, for the first time, on Friday September 28th. Watch for glimpses of this colorful and cooperative spirit around town throughout the year as well. There are lots of fun opportunities to be a part of this positive energy. If you would like to join in the fun, please contact Dawn Waddell at dhwaddell@gmail.com.
