You’ll find fun for all ages at the Holliston Historical Society’s 32nd Annual Harvest Fair on Sunday, September 16 (rain date September 23) from 10 AM to 4 PM at 547 Washington Street.

Enjoy the day at an old-time New England fair with activities such as a bouncy house, children’s games, face painting, and live animal displays by 4H members in addition to numerous craft, collectible and antique vendors. The silent auction, legendary Historical-Society-secret-recipe apple pies, bake table, popcorn and lunch items are perennial favorites. Open house at the Asa Whiting House starts at 11 AM, featuring special exhibits on Holliston’s historic past.

Be sure to get your raffle tickets for the Rustic Colonial Pine Book Case, created at Forked Oaks Farm by Peter MacMurray. We will be picking the lucky winner at the close of the fair.

This year, items offered for sale by many artisan crafters from Holliston and other New England towns include primitive wood items, wooden toys and “name trains,” vintage jewelry, handmade sweaters, chocolate candy, Holliston honey and bee products, Irish soda bread baked by a local baker, antique game boards, photography note cards, silver and beaded jewelry, cards, Irish and Australian hats, doll clothes, hair accessories, silk and dried floral arrangements, collectibles, holiday gifts … and more...
