Trail Cleanup
The Holliston Trails Committee is holding a trail cleanup on Saturday,
September 8th from 9 am to noon. Please meet at the new gazebo on Central
Street near CVS. The main goal of the cleanup is to cut back the overhanging
branches, vines and small shrubs.
Many shrubs can simply be pulled.
We do not anticipate needing chain saws and prefer cutting with lopping shears.
An occasional use of a bow saw may be needed. Please bring gloves, lopping
shears, and wear appropriate footwear. Depending on the number of people in
attendance, we may break up into teams to cover various sections. Please be
aware of poison ivy and mosquitoes.
