Braggville Soft Ball's Player of the Week
Moore, like the majority of his teammates, is a Holliston native, and on spring Sunday nights can often be found on many of the same diamonds where he learned the game as a child. Moore, who once starred at Holliston High School, also starred for Braggville in their 17-1 drubbing of The Hood this past weekend. Moore was a solid two for three with a triple and three RBI’s, and thus wears this week’s crown as the HollistonReporter Player of the Week.
Around the league, with the Old Man Softball League season nearing its mid-point, a trio of familiar teams stand atop the Division A standings. Dalton Road by virtue of their 17-3 romp over Mudville, and Kampersal with a last inning triumph over Casey’s East, joined Braggville in a three way first place tie. At the other end of the spectrum, former powerhouse Long Distance Tire is staring up from the bottom of the B Division, wondering whether time has passed them by.
