Their efforts will culminate this coming weekend when they join the best of the best at the finals of the 81st Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild Drama Festival at The Back Bay Events Center in Boston.

Holliston will perform, …Humans on Friday, March 23rd at 7pm. The following evening, HHS and the other 13 schools who are participating in the finals, will learn their fate during the 8pm awards ceremony.

Cast, Crew and Director Brian Hickey have continued to fine tune …Humans ever since their semi-final success in Brockton on March 10th.  On Monday, the students of HHS were able to see what all of the buzz is about when …Humans was performed during school. Next on the agenda was a final run-through Wednesday. Then it’s on to the bright light and big city of Boston

Having taken an HHS production to Boston once before in 2006, Director Hickey can’t wait for this year’s entry to experience the METG finals. “To be among the remaining 14 schools out of the 114 that started this process is a huge honor,” notes Hickey.

Calling the cohesiveness exhibited by the cast and crew “irreproachable”, Hickey adds that, “There is no question that they deserve to be where they are at this point. These kids are so excited about this weekend that I know they will deliver another great performance on Friday.”  Hickey is thankful for the school and community support that has been shown locally, and is especially appreciative of a compliment received from HHS Principal and …Humans fan Michael Cournoyer, who told him that in his opinion the performances have improved each of the three times that he has seen the show.

Win, lose or draw this weekend, the cast and crew of …Humans will add an exciting chapter to HHS lore, and prove beyond any doubt that drama is a thriving and vital part of the present and future of Holliston High School.

"Break a leg" Holliston! So proud of all of you, especially those I've known since elementary school. Great to see this!
