Holliston High School Presents Annual Pops Concerts
The HHS Music Department will present the annual Pops Concerts on Friday, March 16 and Saturday, March 17 in the HHS Cafeteria.
The vocal ensembles will be the Chorus, Act 2, Harmonics and Testosterones. The instrumental groups will be the Concert Band and the two Jazz Bands. The soloists are students from the department who auditioned for a solo performance and will feature 10 different soloists each night. There will be music for a variety of styles for everyone’s' enjoyment.
The Cafeteria is transformed into a concert venue, complete with stages and lighting, to create a wonderful ambience for the evening. Refreshments are served throughout the concert. All proceeds go to support the music programs of Holliston High School and the other district music programs. Chorus Director Stuart Britton and Band Director Joe Lordan are assisted in the planning of the night by the Holliston Music and Arts Parents Association.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and senior citizens. Front row table tickets can be purchased ahead of time by contacting Mr. Britton at HHS or a student performer. Second row table tickets will be available at the door each night. Both concerts begin at 7 pm.
