Running for a Town Office and sharing your knowledge and expertise is a very rewarding and eye opening experience.  Holliston is very dependent on volunteers, which is one of the reasons it is such a great place to live.  Some offices require more time than others, but please think about giving back to the community.  The following is a list of the offices that are available this year:

             Board of Selectmen   3 year term,     1 position       

            Board of Assessors    3 year term,     1 position       

Finance Committee   3 year term,     2 positions

Finance Committee   1 year term,     1 position        (to fill a vacancy)

Board of Health        3 year term,     1 position       

            Library Trusree        3 year term,     2 positions      

            Park Commissioner  3 year term,     2 position

            Planning Board        5 year term,     1 position       

            School Committee    3 year term,     3 positions

            Water Commissioner 3 year term,     1 position       

In order to run for public office a person must be at least 18 years old, be a registered voter in town and collect 50 signatures from registered voters by April 3^rd.  The Town election is May 22^nd.
